  • Best bites of the Winter
Brain engaged back at Stanford so I can finally write again. Here are my favorite bites of my winter season besides my World Championship gold medal 😉
  • Beijing, China!
To all of the 3 people who read these: sorry for my absence. Turns out being a professional skier, college student, and full-time eater is very time consuming. Fortunately, my ski season commenced in one of the most food-famous countries in the world and I’m finally back doing what I’m really passionate about: talking about… Read more: Beijing, China!
  • Calgary, Canada!
Calgary and I have a… special relationship. From breaking my helmet in this halfpipe in 2022 and swearing I’d never come back, to a post-Olympic visit where depression turned a training camp into solely mobbing the city for a week; I never thought I could say a trip to Calgary was successful. This trip, however,… Read more: Calgary, Canada!
  • Aspen, Colorado! (XGames 2024)
Aspen holds a special place in my heart, partly because of XGames, the pinnacle event of my sport, but mostly because I can justify spending too much money on good food in a bougie place like Aspen. And we did it big this year.
  • Kaprun, Austria!
Thanksgiving break from Stanford spent ski training in Austria. By training I mean aprèsing and eating Schnitzel.
  • Seattle, Washington!
Outdoor Research brought me to Seattle to design and model the new outerwear line, and more importantly, sample the Seattle culinary scene.
  • Dunedin, New Zealand!
Cuisine, turquoise marine, and the greenest greens you’ve ever seen.
  • Wānaka, New Zealand!
Mmm meat pies. Also pretty views or whatever.
  • Stanley, Idaho!
Idaho: number 1 global destination. Ok but on a real note, Idaho is seriously underrated. Maybe not the best spot for a foodie, but Idaho will bring out the granola in you.
  • Paris, France!
I couldn’t tell you the number of croissants we ate.
  • Madrid, Spain!
Now before I became a professional foodie, I didn’t hold the highest views on Spanish food- bread, meat, and cheese. But we did Madrid right, and it changed my mind.
  • Bakuriani, Georgia!
We went to Georgia (the country) for World Championships and stumbled across our newest favorite foods.
  • Mount Hood, Oregon!
This summer ski training camp means long, hot days sunbathing on the snow, exploring the beautiful PNW, and swimming in refreshing rivers. Don’t forget good eats!
  • Sydney, Australia!
We went to Sydney, Australia to stuff our faces with food.
  • Manly, Australia!
Originally planning to spend a month training in New Zealand, we were struck with the news that the ski resort would not be building a halfpipe. Tragedy strikes and we HAVE to go to Aus for a week instead!
